Motorola is gearing up to unveil its next-generation foldable smartphones on April 24th, with the spotlight on the much-anticipated Razr 60 Ultra. Though design changes may be minimal compared to last year’s Razr 50 Ultra, newly leaked specifications suggest significant hardware upgrades. Shared exclusively by 91mobiles in collaboration with reliable tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (OnLeaks), the Razr 60 Ultra looks set to raise the bar in the foldable segment.
Stunning Displays, Inside and Out
The main display of the Razr 60 Ultra will reportedly be a 7-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with 1440p resolution, offering a 165Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, 10-bit color, and 4,500 nits peak brightness—a step up from the 6.9-inch screen on its predecessor. It’s also said to support a 130Hz/300Hz touch response rate in game mode and 120% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
On the outside, the 4-inch cover display is expected to feature pOLED LTPO AMOLED technology, with 3,000 nits peak brightness, HDR10+, and a 165Hz refresh rate. This marks a substantial usability boost for quick tasks and media consumption without opening the device.
First Foldable with Snapdragon 8 Elite
Under the hood, the Razr 60 Ultra could become the first foldable smartphone powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with an Adreno GPU for top-tier graphics performance. The device may pack 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring it’s ready for power users and multitaskers alike.
Camera & Battery Upgrades
Photography is also getting a major overhaul. The Razr 60 Ultra is tipped to feature a dual 50MP rear camera setup, including a primary sensor with OIS and an ultra-wide lens with macro capability. The front camera will reportedly jump to 50MP, a big improvement from the 32MP sensor on the Razr 50 Ultra.
The battery department sees notable gains as well. The foldable may house a 4,700mAh cell with 68W TurboPower wired and 30W wireless charging, beating out the previous model’s 4,000mAh capacity and slower charging speeds.
Other Features & Expected Price
Running on Android 15, the Razr 60 Ultra is expected to support 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C, along with a suite of sensors including a fingerprint scanner, gyroscope, and ambient light sensor. Weighing 199 grams, the foldable’s leaked dimensions suggest a sleek and compact design.
While the official price remains unconfirmed, a recent retailer listing suggests the 12GB/512GB variant may cost EUR 1,346.90 (around ₹1,31,000). Color options could include red, green, wood, black, and pink.
Motorola is positioning the Razr 60 Ultra as a premium foldable powerhouse, making it a potential game-changer in the flagship space.
