OpenAI has launched two new AI models—o3 and o4-mini—marking a significant upgrade in simulated reasoning and tool integration. Announced on Wednesday, these models are the first in OpenAI’s lineup to combine advanced reasoning abilities with access to the full suite of ChatGPT tools, including web browsing, code generation, visual analysis, and image creation.
